Grabbit (An Outdoor team game)
1. There are two teams, the Rabbits and the Foxes and they stand at opposite ends of a straight track. The track is divided into three parts. The fox side, the middle ground and the rabbit side.
2. The fox team throws the “Carrot” out (an object suitable for throwing, grabbing quickly and running with, it doesn’t have to be carrot shaped) and they must throw it far enough so that it lands in the middle ground.
3. A player from the rabbit team then has to run up and grab hold of the carrot and run back with it to the Rabbit side.
4. However, each time a rabbit player grabs the carrot, a player from the fox team runs to grab them and is allowed to chase them all the way back to the rabbit side.
5. A rabbit is not safe until he has crossed the line that marks the rabbit side; a fox may not chase him beyond that line.
6. Each time the rabbit team gets a carrot home safely, they win a point. Each time a member of the fox team catches a rabbit their team win a point.
7. There are two halves to a game and, at half time, the teams switch round, Rabbits becoming Foxes and Foxes becoming rabbits.
8. At the end of the game the team with the most points wins.
Wheel Bowling
Wheel Bowling is an Individual Sport in which competitors have to roll wheels across the ground, over a set distance and the wheel has to pass through several narrow gaps that are also markers of distance. The person who manages to roll the wheel the farthest and through the most narrow gaps is the winner.
Piggy Back Fighting
Piggy Back Fighting is a type of contact or martial sport, similar to medieval jousting, where a player riding on the shoulders of another player has to push his opponent off of the shoulders of the person carrying them (they land on a padded mat).
The person sitting upon his team mates shoulders is referred to as The Rider, and the person who carries the Rider is called The Carrier.
Carriers are not allowed to fight; their job is to move the riders around the arena. Riders may use pushing and wrestling as well as padded Pugil Sticks to knock their opponent off of the shoulders of his Carrier.
Ambidextrous Throwing
The competitors in ambidextrous throwing hold a ball in both their hands and have to, simultaneously, hit two different targets. The two targets start off close together but are moved farther apart with each round.
Hail- (These are the basic rules but you may add or change rules if you wish)
1. There is one goal and two teams, the defenders (in yellow) and the attackers (in green).
2. Each of the attacking team have green Goal balls that they must get into the goal of the defenders. To win a game they must get 4 balls into the goal.
3. However, the defenders all have yellow balls that they throw and try to hit the attackers with (The Hail). To win, they must stop 4 balls getting into the goal.
4. In order for an attacker to score a goal, therefore, he must avoid being hit by the balls of the defenders (In other words, he must try to score a goal whilst dodging balls being hurled at him).
5. Defenders must throw their balls. Attackers must carry their balls through the Hail but may use any part of their body to put their ball into the goal.
8. An Attacker may sustain three hits from defender balls, after which they are out of the game.
9. There are nine players in the attacking team and each member of the attacking team has a green Goal ball and thus a chance at scoring a goal. There are nine players on the defending team and each defender has a yellow defender ball and thus a chance at hitting a goal scorer.
10. After each attack the defending team gather up or are given new balls to prepare for the next attack.
11. The game has two halves and, in the second half, the attackers become the defenders and the defenders become the attackers.
A Facing Forwards Race –
1. A facing forwards race is a jumping race in which the track has twists and turns but the competitors may not turn round and must keep facing forwards.
2. This means that if they want to move sideways then, since they cannot turn left or right, they have to jump sideways and if they want to move backwards, since they cannot turn around, then they have to jump backwards.
3. For example, the track might be a square track which would mean jumping forwards until reaching the end of the first side; jumping sideways left to the end of the second side; jumping backwards to the end of the third side and then jumping sideways right back to the beginning
