Oh, the Jumping Bean from Guadalajara
said “How do you do?
I’ve jumped all the way from Guadalajara
just to be with you.
Wearing only my sombrero
and a worn out pair of shoes,
I’ve jumped all the way from Monterrey
over to Vera Cruz.
I’ve been farther than Tijuana
all the way to Guadalupe.
In one place in Acapulco
I even jumped through a hoop.
North to South I go,
cross Mexico
jumping across the land;
once I jumped so high that I did fly
across the Rio Grande.
Oh, the Jumping Bean from Guadalajara
said “How do you do?
I’ve jumped all the way from Guadalajara
just to be with you.
Wearing only my sombrero
and a worn out pair of shoes,
I’ve jumped all the way from Monterrey
over to Vera Cruz.
