The Ladybird Game (a picture spotting race game) –

1. All over the game board are hundreds of little pictures of animals, objects, famous people and all kinds of things.
2. Players take turns drawing cards from a box and on each card is one of the objects/animals, etcetera that are on the board.
3. The first player to find the object gets to roll the dice and, depending upon their dice roll,  move their ladybird shaped piece along the track that runs around the edge of the board.
4. However, also on every card is an optional question about the pictured animal/object/thing and players who choose to answer that question and answer it correctly get a chance to double their dice roll number but it’s a gamble because if they get the question wrong then they have to move their piece backwards the number that they roll.
5. The object of the game is to be the first to go all the way around the board and reach the start/finishing point.
