Hard Hood – Reinforced Safety Hood
A hard hood is a jacket hood that is reinforced to provide protection like a safety helmet/hard hat/cycle helmet but the advantage it has over a helmet is that, because it looks like a hood, it can be worn casually. (I have googled this to see if its an old idea and so far I haven't turned up anything but if Hard Hoods already exist then I apologise, I was not aware of their existence).
