Lantern of Lantana;
I love how you glow;
like joy bursting inside
when love first starts to grow;
like a big-bang beginning
when a universe starts;
an explosion of colours
that just blows me apart.

It may not be lantern shaped but it certainly brings light. I had to write this poem because it is just such an incredibly strange and beautiful and vivacious sort of flower that really deserves to be celebrated. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment, coolibah. Much appreciated.
