Within love’s land, though I may be a stranger
and cannot tell what sorrows, there, may hide
for you, my love, I’d put my heart in danger;
for you such risk is surely justified.
For you, I’d put on wings made from your kisses
and take the leap of love quite happily
to fly, just for a moment, up where bliss is
is worth the risk I’ll crash in sorrow's sea.
