'Houdini’s Cat'
Houdini tapped his wand
upon his magic hat,
said hocus-pocus and
then conjured up a cat.
The cat picked up the wand
and tapped Houdini’s beard,
said hocus-pocus and
Houdini disappeared.
'The Otter Spotter – A Tongue Twister'
“We ought to spot a lot of otters sitting in this spot”,
said the otter spotter Otto to his pretty daughter, Dot
“ because waters what a little river otter loves a lot”.
Then his daughter thought she caught sight of an otter but did not.
'There was a little girl from Brussels'
There was a little girl from Brussels
who ate sprouts all day long
because she thought she’d get big muscles
and become awfully strong
but then, one day, to her surprise
she caught sight of her reflection
and saw she’d got two sprouts for eyes
and a cabbage like complexion.
'When Peacocks Try To Sing'
When peacocks try to sing
it is not a pretty sound.
Why aren’t they satisfied
with just strutting around,
fanning fabulous tails
and looking beautiful?
Why do they have to wail?
It doesn’t suit them at all.
"A Cat fell from a flat – Variation on ‘The Cat Sat On The Mat’"
A cat fell from a flat
and though it was quite fat,
the cat did not go splat
or end up pancake flat
‘cause cats land on their feet
or should I say their paws.
It just walked off down the street
to a big round of applause.
'Natterjack toad' –
Hop along; skip along
Natterjack toad
over the rainbow, river and road;
leap into the water; jump up to the sky
chasing after dragonflies.
0 -¡Olé!
^A round of applause please for the amazing
El Beano.
