The Longest Necked Giraffe

The longest necked giraffe of all
could touch the moon, he was so tall.
He'd bump his head against the stars
and even chat to men on Mars.

 

He'd stretch his neck across the sea
from Africa to Hungary
or deep below it, stick his head
and chat to fish on the sea bed.

 

He'd rescue men from mountain peaks
and with the Yheti often speak
and when an aeroplane passed by,
at passengers he'd wink his eye.

 

Then when he'd go to sleep at night
he'd rest his head on clouds of white
and dream about a giraffe miss
with a neck just as long as his.
