Someone stole the school mascot from the principles office. The police were called.

A police detective interviewed the only two witnesses to the crime.

One witness said, "The English Teacher did it".

The other witness said, "The French Teacher did it".

Upon hearing both the witness's the detective said,

"Then its obvious who the culprit is".

Answer: The English Teacher is from France and is thus a French teacher. Both the witness's say they saw the same person steal the mascot thus there is only one suspect.
