On my laptop I'm tapping

while the flowers are flapping

and the butterflies happily play.

And I take such delight in

just sitting here writing

I could sit in my garden all day.

 

While I work on a stanza,

its an extravaganza

of colours and fragrant perfumes.

If you seek inspiration

there's no better location

than a garden with flowers in bloom.

How very sweet and jolly. I very much enjoyed the rhythm of this little ditty and was impressed with a nice rhyme for "stanza"

The beat of your heart is the mellifluent rhythm to my soul.

Love this poem...there's something special about the garden at this time of the year, watching the bees at work and all the other insects going about their business.

It has a good rhythm and rhyme and is catchy when read out loud.
