My Spirit, it lies down in Nature’s bed;
against green fields and flowers, rests its head;
unburdened from a world dreary and grey;
soothed by the golden salve of bright sun rays;
lulled into blissful sleep by song of birds;
hushed by the breeze; a mother’s whispered words.
