Now my love has put down its roots
and can’t be shook by wind or storm;
bright are its blossoms; sweet, its fruits
touched by loves sunlight, gold and warm;
like those trees that grow great in size,
my love shall grow to pierce the skies
and long as Earth's most ancient tree
has stood, so shall my love for thee.
