Pandora's Box

More panic pours out of pandoras box;

everyday an avalanche of misery and fear;

of mad murders; mass shootings; terror bombs and cyber hackers,

ear borne pandemics, infect my soul

and only the anchormen of twittering birds;

the daily goodnews of my garden beyond;

only the golden light transmitted by my window

and uninterrupted by adman's babble

with sweet warmth jams the signal of their sorrow

and keeps my heart informed of hope in the world.
