1st Verse:
When it’s cold and wintry weather
and white snow lies everywhere,
that’s when penguins get together
all dressed up like Fred Astaire.
2nd Verse:
In their black and white tuxedos,
you might say they look quite chic,
tapping with their yellow webbed toes
as they all dance beak to beak.
Chorus:
They all have a penguin party;
a snow ball in the Antarctic;
flap their flippers; tap their toes,
dancing through the winter snow.
They all have a get together,
flock just like birds of a feather
to dance round and have some fun
underneath the midnight sun.
3rd Verse:
And you have their invitation.
Why not go along and see?
It’s their annual occasion;
the big penguin jamboree.
4th Verse:
Go along and join in with them;
you can waddle side to side;
flap your flippers to the rhythm
or, over ice, slip and slide.
Chorus:
They all have a penguin party;
a snow ball in the Antarctic;
flap their flippers; tap their toes,
dancing through the winter snow.
They all have a get together,
flock just like birds of a feather
to dance round and have some fun
underneath the midnight sun.
