Physical Evidence For Weight As A Power Source -

Evidence:
If you leave a heavy weight upon a pile of paper for a minute and then lift it up what will you see upon the paper? Nothing.
But if you leave the heavy weight on the pile of paper for a year and lift it up after a year what will you see? You will see a deep indentation in the paper.
What is this evidence of?
It is evidence that energy has slowly, in accordance  with the first law of thermodynamics, been transferred from the weight to the pile of paper over time.
And that means that weights act like batteries, slowly transferring the energy in them to anything you place them upon.
What could this possibly imply? - It means that you could use a heavy weight as a power source.
This seems as ridiculous as perpetual motion: But the physical evidence I present does prove that, even though a weight is not moving, energy is slowly and continually coming out of it and thus causing its impression to be left in the paper and if its weight plus time alone can do that to the paper then a device could be created to harness that slowly draining energy.

 

Alternative theory - Gravitational funnel:
My other theory however, IS a bit like perpetual motion and it is this, "The weight isn't just a battery full of potential energy, its the energy of the earths gravitational pull and is thus a perpetual power source (or atleast a power source that will last as long as the Earth) For example, enough weight pressure plus enough time turns a lump of coal into a diamond. Is that transformation evidence of weight pressure as a power source?".
