The Pilot, The Soldier and The Sailor

Once there was a princess who had three brave and bold suitors; a pilot, a soldier and a sailor
And the pilot said to the princess, "I will fly to the top of the world and bring you back treasures from the highest mountain peaks".
But as he was leaving the princess he saw a poor man outside the palace with a flower to give her.
"Is that for the princess?", asked the pilot.
"Yes", said the poor man.
"I'll help you get a much better present than that", said the pilot.
And then the pilot took the man flying in his plane.
But while they were up in the air, the pilot flipped the plane over and the man fell out of the plane.
Fortunately, the man landed on a soft cloud and floated to a nearby mountain then, climbing down the mountain he went back to see the princess with another flower.
And as he was waiting outside the palace, the soldier was talking with the princess.
And the soldier said, "I will march to the ends of the Earth and bring you back treasures from the farthest continents".
But as the soldier was leaving the princess he saw the poor man outside the palace with his flower.
"Is that for the princess?", asked the soldier.
"Yes", said the poor man.
"I'll help you get a much better present than that", said the soldier.
And then the soldier took the man driving in his army truck.
But while the army truck was driving through the desert, the soldier pushed the man out of the back of the truck and drove off.
Fortunately, the man found a genies lamp in the desert that would grant him three wishes but he only wanted one.
He wished to go back to see the princess.
And as he was waiting outside the palace with yet another flower to give her the sailor was in the palace talking to her.
And the sailor said, "I will sail all around the world and bring you back all the treasures of the seven seas".
But as the Sailor was leaving the palace he too saw the poor man waiting outside with his flower.
"Is that for the princess?", the sailor asked.
"Yes", said the poor man.
"I'll help you get a much better present than that", said the Sailor.
And then the sailor took the man sailing upon his boat.
But while they were far out at sea, the sailor pushed the poor man overboard and sailed off.
Fortunately the poor man met a passing whale and the whale offered to carry the man back to shore.
Then the man went back to see the princess with yet another flower.
And eventually he was permitted to see the princess and give her the flower and he told her all about the things that had happened to him.
As he was talking to the princess however, the Pilot, the Soldier and the Sailor all came into the room.
"I have brought you treasures from the top of the world", said the pilot.
"I have brought you treasures from the ends of the Earth", said the soldier.
"I have brough you treasures from the seven seas", said the sailor.
But the Princess said that she didn't want any of their treasures.
"This man was was tipped out of a plane", she said about the poor man, "Pushed out of a truck and left in the desert and thrown off a boat into the sea but he came back every time just to see me and give me a flower. Thats real love and thats the only treasure I want".
The pilot, the soldier and the sailor weren't very happy about losing the princess to the poor man and they started to complain but there was nothing they could do; the princess had them all thrown out of the palace.
Then she married the poor man and they lived happily ever after.
