A Rattle Cone - Idea for a simple paper noise-maker

Step 1: Roll a sheet of A4 paper into a cone (Narrow at one end and broad at the other)

Step 2: Fold the cone in half (Fold one end over onto the other end)

Step 3: Flatten the narrow end. This becomes the handle of the noisemaker.

Step 4: Now, gripping the flat handle (gripping it tightly near to the fold produces better results) , simply shake it back and forth and it should make a loudish popping/crackling sound as the rustle of the paper is magnified by the wide, open conical end of the noisemaker.

I was using printer/photocopier paper. I think that seems to work best. I'm not much good when it comes to rolling cigarettes but I do like playing the Kazoo. I've got a couple of Kazoos, one tin and one plastic that I ordered off of Amazon. A greatly underrated instrument, the Kazoo.
