When I put on his coat of red
and don his beard of white
and wear his cap upon my head,
I feel an inner light.
When I practice my Ho-ho-ho’s;
with padding, stuff my suit;
put red rouge on my cheeks and nose
and pull on his black boots.
A kind of glow is what I feel;
a real magic, because;
I’m making the dream become real,
yes, I am Santa Clause.
I am Santa Clause, its true
when I give to girls and boys
and so are you, my friend and you
and all who spread Christmas joy.
