Remember the Spring

Remember the Spring when the Earth is cold;
remember the sun’s gentle kiss of gold;
remember the grass and the flowers that grow
when the world is all hidden with ice and snow;
remember the birds and their tranquil song
when the wild, wind howls and the nights are long;
remember and keep them in your heart
till the bleak days end and the new spring starts.
