When the Springtime sun appears,
it is as if a school bell rings.
From here and there and everywhere,
out come the young school maids of Spring.
They are the Spring flowers that spurt
forth from the Earth now bright and new.
Silk petals are their pleated skirts;
their uniforms, of every hue.
Bluebells, daisies, daffodils and
buttercups burst into bloom;
bright as happy little children,
set free from cold winter's classroom.
