Technological and Internet Business Idea: Webhand -
This is a robot arm/hand that can be controlled over the internet for various purposes allowing people not just to look at each other and speak to each other (as in a Webcam) but touch each other. Imagine a soldier far away on the battlefield who is able to stroke his loved ones hair with the robotic hand.
Charity Idea: Charity Election – A way of raising money
In a charity election people pay a pound to vote for a charity that they would like to receive money. When all the votes are counted the charity that gets the most votes gets all the money raised by the election. If enough money is raised then money could go to the 2nd and 3rd runner’s up as well.
Internet Business Idea: Your billboard dot com-
In the middle of a crowded city square is a large digital billboard; the bill board is linked to a website. People pay via the website to put messages from them on the billboard so that everyone can see them. They can put anything on the billboard that isn’t illegal or offensive; for example romantic messages or just nonsense if they wish. They pay per minute; so how long their message stays on the board depends upon how much they pay.
Internet Business Idea: Dedicate this dot com –
In the middle of a crowded city square is a digital jukebox with loud speakers; people go to a website and, paying for it with their card, then pick, from a selection of songs, what songs they want to be played on the jukebox and they can even type in dedications that will appear scrolling across the jukebox.
Technological Toy Idea: Magi-badge Digital Fashion Badge–
This is a badge that contains a screen onto which children can download designs and even video and audio clips; either ones that they’ve created or ones downloaded from the Digital Fashion Badge website.
Also: some random Ideas for applications (both military and civilian) of Warping Time and Space (if wormholes/warping time ever became possible)
1. Warp Generator
A turbine turning perpetually in a timewarp, repeating the same motion over and over again to produce electricity.
2. Time warp shield
A forcefield of warped time around a soldier/vehicle that slows down any projectile fired towards it, allowing it to dodge bullets/missiles.
3. Warp Slingshot
Time and space stretched like an elastic band and let go propelling an object like a slingshot.
4. Warpedo
A missile fired through a worm hole at an opponents target or into an opponents vehicle.
5. Warposcopy
Rather than travelling through a wormhole; a warposcope is a type of spacewarping telescope that allows astronomers to view distant stars.
6. Warpcables
Wormholes as communication cables between distant parts of the universe.
7. Warp Surgery
Tiny wormholes used to perform surgery without cutting through the skin of a patient.
8. Warpwells
Rather than digging a hole to extract water, a worm hole could make a temporary in the ground through which water or other fluids could be extracted then could be closed up again.
9. Warpdrilling
Wormholes could also be used instead of drills for extracting minerals.
10. Warp rescue-
Emmergency services of the future can use wormholes to save and evacuate people from disasters.
11. Warp escape tunnel for freeing hostages/captured prisoners of war
Instead of digging an escape tunnel into or out of a prison; a wormhole could be used to make a temporary tunnel into a prison cell in order to rescue hostages or P.O.W’s
12. Warpevator –
A warpevator is a vertical wormhole that acts as an elevator/lift taking people to different floors of a building.
13. Holeshield/Projectile redirection hole –
Imagine putting a wormhole infront of your armoured vehicle; anything fired towards it would go through the wormhole instead of hitting your vehicle; for example a missile fired from a missile launcher would go through a tank rather than hitting it.
14. Warparena-
A wormhole could be placed in the middle of arena, allowing bands from around the world to appear at that arena without having to travel by plane. A wormhole connecting two sports stadiums in different parts of the world could allow teams to play each other without travelling.
15. Warp Invisibility/Camouflage –
By placing a wormhole infront of and behind an object, people viewing that object would only see what was behind it.
16. Warp speaker –
Directed sound channelled through a wormhole; if you have a loud noise then make a wormhole through it connecting you to the person you want to hear you.
17. Warparang-
Two wormholes side by side, so that a missile fired into one would come back out of the other and hit the people who launched the missile, just as if the missile had done a ‘U-turn’.
18. Warp levitation-
A wormhole directly above another wormhole. Any object falling into the lower wormhole will fall back out of the wormhole above it, thus constantly staying in the air. This might also be a method of creating a perpetual motion device.
19. Warp supply of air (or other things)-
An astronauts air supply could come straight from the Earth rather than from a container of oxygen; a firefighter could throw a potentially unlimited amount of water at a fire by feeding a firehose through a wormhole from a large reservoir of water.
20. Stormswallower –
What would happen if you put a wormhole in front of a moving tornado? You could transport it somewhere else where it wouldn’t cause any harm. (Could also be used to swallow meteors that are on a collision course with Earth)
21. Doorless Vault –
Some kind of electronic combination lock opens a wormhole into a bank vault rather than opening a door.
