Oh, the steam engine dragon
is rough and it's tough;
as it pulls scaly wagons,
it huffs and it puffs.
And it flaps wings of metal
and its gas lamp eyes glow
and the spout of a kettle
is the horn on its nose.
And its skin is all covered in wrought iron scales
and it has no feet because it rolls upon rails;
and it eats up wood logs and black lumps of coal
as over the green hills and dales it rolls.
