1.
Some are winter people
who think snow and ice so nice
and white snow everywhere is their
idea of paradise.
They prefer thick coats of fur
to bikinis and shorts
and shivering and going brrr
to sunbathing and sports.
Chorus:
But some are Summer people;
they love Summer time so much;
sun on their skin makes them glow within
like some magic Midas touch.
To sun of gold and skies of blue;
they say “Summertime, I love you!”.
It fills their souls with so much cheer
when warm bright summer days are here.
2.
Some are Autumn people;
they prefer the Autumn gloom
and fallen leaves to golden sheaves
and flowers in full bloom.
Some even may like skies of grey
and rain clouds up above;
the summer makes them glummer
‘cause grey weathers what they love.
Chorus:
But some are Summer people;
they love Summer time so much;
sun on their skin makes them glow within
like some magic Midas touch.
To sun of gold and skies of blue;
they say “Summertime, I love you!”.
It fills their souls with so much cheer
when warm bright summer days are here.
