Where have all the Summers of yesterday gone?
They live in my heart and their light lustres on.
From my heart, as from Earth, all their bright flowers grow;
every trees evergreen and warm breezes still blow;
little butterflies flutter through memory's cocoon;
bees still hum and birds twitter their wonderful tunes
and the sky’s always bright, clear and sapphire blue;
the sun golden and warm and our love ever true.
