shouts fossil fuel akbar
with the ticking time bomb
of global warming
in his hands.
 
Theresa May
behind a veil
of respectability, lies
in the political harem
of sultan oligarchs.

 

And I do live in terror
of the ticking time bomb
and the head of democracy
being cut off
for the mad death cult of greed.

 

But I have faith

that the people are great;
that people will unite;
the good democrats,
against this distortion of democracy;
unite against the terror
that can explode from their ballot box
in time to save the world.
