A Theory Of Freedom: Irrationality is the mother of freedom

Say that, hypothetically, human beings were all robotically rational.
If they were all robotically rational then they would always and only make the most rational choice.
And if they would always and only make the most rational choice then they would not have free will.
It is only the freedom to choose the less rational or irrational option that gives us choice.
Objection: But what if there were two equally rational but opposite options.
Answer: If they are truly equally rational (in otherwords if the outcomes of both choices was equally positive) then to a robotically rational being it would make no difference which they chose and so they would choose one at random.
Question: I still don't understand.
Okay I'll put it in this way, "If you always HAVE to choose the most rational option then you have no choice; you will just automatically, like a problem solving machine, pick that option. And if we were all robotically rational people we WOULD HAVE TO choose the most rational option thus we would have no choice".
It is only the human ability to pick less rational options that gives us freedom of choice.
Based upon this argument. What do you think we should do? : I think that, if we value freedom, people should not be condemned or belittled for having beliefs that seem irrational as long as those people cause no harm to others.
