"Anyone who doesn't love the Earth must have a heart of stone".
"Wit is a firework; wisdom a candle; both can give light to
us in our darkest hours but the light of wisdom lasts longer".
"We may be wise about others but fools about ourselves".
"Some men acquire a lot of knowledge as if they were
balancing a pile of books upon their head but more impressive than a heap of
knowledge is a grain of understanding".
“With the three prongs of our worry and the horns of our regret, the devil steals away our precious time but halo’s, like holly wreathes, are woven by gathering up each sunlit moment of our lives”.
“Do not fill up your memory with regrets; it is like filling up a treasure chest with common rocks and stones”.
“Wise men climb to reach greater heights; fools try to push the ground beneath them lower/ Wise men grow to become taller; fools try to cut the world shorter”.
“Some men do not know that they are mortal. Without the light to let them see, their two eyes, like mine, would be worthless and yet some men seem to think, mistakenly, that their eyes are also their torchlight; that the air is made by the act of their breathing and that they were born out of their own womb; that they need nothing and owe nothing".
“Life is consciousness; consciousness is being in connection to the world. Each man’s life is a history of meetings and connections. Each man’s life is made of lives that he has shared his life with. Without others there would be no I; without the world I would not exist; the solipsist would have no dreams, just a dark, silent emptiness to dwell upon”.
“Bad breath is better than suffocation; a stupid question is better than dumb ignorance”.
“It is the pre-human in me that desires to be trans-human, the ape in me that dreams of being a stronger, swifter, more powerful and resourceful ape but only the human in me that desires to perfect my heart and become a better human being; kinder, more loving and more compassionate and what greater thing can anyone aspire to”.
“Love is like an eye or an ear in the heart; like a sixth human sense which perceives our connection to the world”.
“To those who walk upon a wheel it may seem like a road that is going nowhere and the birth of each new beginning may seem like a dead end. Our hearts are filled with the unfulfilled; with dead ends that could be turned into new roads; out of our guilt we could mend and heal; out of our regrets we could learn and change”.
“Often, when we think we have reached the end of the road it is because we have not walked far enough”.
“The man who really cares about the truth is never certain of anything”.
"A man is not a giant simply because he stands upon a mountain".
"The hardest chains to escape are the ones that we cannot see".
"We want the sun and the stars as well but more light will not make us less blind".
Thought: A Naturaphile not a Technophobe
I have nothing against water; I love water, in fact, but I do not wish to drown or be washed away by a flood. In the same way, I have nothing against technology or progress but I love and hold sacred Nature and my own humanity and I do not want those things to be drowned or washed away.

Men have done cruel things with stone clubs and with cannons why should they not do it with the technology of our future? It is not technology I fear but the uses to which callous and selfish men will put it.
