1.
I hear the thunder rumbling
like heavy heavens crumbling
like all the sky is tumbling.
I'm trembling. It's humbling.
2.
A herd, I hear; a hundred colts;
hooves hurling down a hundred volts;
they're hurling down their thunder bolts;
the whole earth seems under assault.
Chorus:
The thunder rocks;
the thunder rolls;
each lightning strike
ignites my soul.
The windows flash
with each whiplash
as, in the sky, the titans clash.
3.
The booming drums and battering
like two big armies battling
and luminously shattering
the gloom with sabres clattering.
4.
I feel my heart start shuddering
with every sharp and sudden sting
of thunder that is thudding down
so hard upon the huddled town.
Chorus:
The thunder rocks;
the thunder rolls;
each lightning strike
ignites my soul.
The windows flash
with each whiplash
as, in the sky, the titans clash.
