The Timmy and Tommy Game (A children’s game for one person involving imaginary players/ suitable for a child whose ill in bed)–
1st Rule: First say “Timmy and Tommy are going travelling”. Then decide where Timmy and Tommy have gone to. Where ever they go, you must only think of words that relate to that place. (For example, if you say “Timmy and Tommy have gone to the circus” then you must only think of Circus words like “Clown” and “Acrobat”)
2nd Rule: Now, for example, let’s say “Timmy and Tommy have gone to the woods” and one of the things they might see in the woods are BEARS. Now we share out the letters of the word between the two imaginary boys, Timmy and Tommy, like so:
“Timmy gets B
Tommy gets E
Timmy gets A
Tommy gets R
Timmy gets S
Oh dear. None left for Tommy”.
3rd Rule: The boy (Timmy or Tommy) with the most letters gets a point
4th Rule: If both boys have the same number of letters then you have to take the “Timmy and Tommy Word Challenge” to continue the game. THE RULES OF THE 'WORD CHALLENGE' are this; take the last word that Timmy and Tommy divided up and make words beginning with each of the letters of that word. For example, if the word was TREE then you’d have to say something like Tortoise, Red, Eagle, Egg.
5th Rule: After 7 rounds, the boy with the most points is called the winner and then you have to say either “Tommy wears the crown and Timmy wears the frown” or “Timmy wears the crown and Tommy wears the frown” depending on which boy wins.
