A tree grew in a garden (Rhyme)

A tree grew in a garden,
all covered in pink blossoms
but the wind blew so hard on
the little tree it lost them.

 

Instead of pretty flowers,
it grew fruit ripe and golden.
Wind blew with all its power
and made all the fruit fall down.

 

Instead of ripe and golden
fruit, it grew golden leaves
but the Autumn wind stole them
just like a band of thieves.

 

But then cold winter ended
snow and ice began to thaw
and Spring picking up its pen did,
on that tree, bright blossoms draw.
