Under an Autumn Moon (1930’s Fred Astaire type of tune)

Under an Autumn moon
we’ll dance again;
romance again,
we two.
Under September skies
with moonshine in our eyes
and love.
Under an Autumn moon,
you’ll hold me tight
all through the night
until
We see the break of day.
Nothing can take away
our love.
Verse:
We’ll share the glory of love
while Mr Moon shines up above
shedding his silver beams;
feels like a lovely dream
tonight.
Under an Autumn moon
we’ll dance again;
romance again,
we two.
Under September skies
with moonshine in our eyes
and love.
Under an Autumn moon,
you’ll hold me tight
all through the night
until
We see the break of day.
Nothing can take away
our love.
Verse 2:
It would be so tragic
to waste the moonlights magic.
Steal a kiss while we can;
I’ll be your moonlight man
tonight.

Beautiful lyrics JoHn, can
Beautiful lyrics JoHn, can only say I agree with bbanyard, could definitely hear music of Cole Porter or even Ella Fitzgerald. You probably wouldn't agree, but there's a singer from way back called Ruth Etting, I can hear her singing to these lyrics too. Anyway beautifully done and very much enjoyed reading. Jenny.
