The Vastness of Nature

No picture can capture the grandeur of Nature;
no canvas is vast as her broad open skies;
her clouds, like a snow capped mountain in stature
her sun, like a blue god’s bright golden eye
like a Polyphemus who, over us, towers
making even tall men feel small as the flowers
and yet one that's gentle and caring and kind
for she showers her gold upon all humankind.
