Rules of "War of Words" -
There are two players 1 and 2
Player 1 says an acronym, each letter standing for a word in a sentence which describes an attack on Player 2
Player 1 says an acronym, each letter standing for a word in a sentence which describes a defence against Player 2
Player 1 then reveals the meaning of his acronym
Player 2 then reveals the meaning of his acronym and player 2's acronym must be an adequate and logical defence against Player 1's attack
Example:
Player 1: AYWHOR
Player 2: BRWS
Player 1: Attack you with hammer on right
Player 2: Block Right With Shield
Fortunately, in the above example, Player B has guessed correctly what Player 1's acronym stands for and has an adequate defence against it.
How to win: Players take turns attacking and defending until a player gives an inadequate defence; if a player gives an inadequate defence they lose.
Restriction: Players are restricted to using weapons found in tales of sword and sorcery; medieval weapons or magic in other words. This prevents players using absurd things like nuclear weapons of mass destruction. Magic spells might be absurd but they can be defended against with magic.
Knot - Verbal Number Game
1. Firstly, both Player A and Player B mentally pick a number from 1 to 12 but DO NOT REVEAL THEIR NUMBERS.
2. Secondly, they take turns saying all the numbers from 1 to 12 that they DIDN'T PICK until finally, WHEN THEY HAVE SAID ALL THE NUMBERS THEY DIDN'T PICK, they say the number that they DID pick.
3. Each time a player says, "I didn't pick (this number)" it means that they cannot say that number as their final number. They are, essentially, narrowing down their options so that when they do say their number there is no other number that they can say.
4. Ranking of numbers: (just as an Ace can be higher than a king) 1 to 4 is lower than 5 to 8 but higher than 9 to 12.
