love, honor,obey

Love, honor and obey, three simple words yet they are three of the most difficult promises to achieve.
Only two out of ten marriages will do this and one of those two will be done out of fear.
LOVE- Scared to be alone, petrified that the grass will in fact not be greener on the other side,
that your right I will never find anyone who will love or look after me like you do, even if that does mean i have to deal with the beatings when i step out of line.
HONOR- Staying for our childrens sake because we did bring them into the world and it would destroy them if we split up.
OBEY- Commanding to your every demand even if that does mean hiding the deep protruding bruises from my family from when i try and assert myself.
The 1% who keep their promises for the right reasons
LOVE- The way my heart skips a beat when you enter a room even after twenty years of marriage.
HONOR- Every day im proud to call you my partner as you are of me.
OBEY- Obey, what is that, we don't demand anything from each other, we encourage and help each other out of love and respect alone.
Isn't it sad after generations and decades of marriages only 1% get it right.
