I'm just fucked in the head

Is this moving forward? I feel
Behind
​Where I was; there's so much right with this
​Picture; if only I was
​Smiling; I find that part easier

Be the source of my happiness but

Maybe I was meant

Better this way; I needed some kind of
​Hope and that's exactly what led

This makes sense

I like the way the poem's structure emphasises the ambivalence, the simultaneous need for and fear of dependence.  The poem also makes you wonder about the dynamics of the relationship, and what the 'other half' thinks about it.  A good read.

You've correctly categorised this as an 18, but the teaser (which defaults to the first couple of lines) appears on the front page, and so it has to be U rated - as well as the title.  I've fixed this one for you

Thanks! I'm a little confused, though. If I'm going to rate a story 18, what do I need to do differently than what I did with this one?

you rated the story fine! It's just if you know you have something not U rated in the first few lines, then make sure you create a teaser without those words - so in this instance I omitted the 'fucked in the head'. I hope that makes sense
