Ramblings of a rambling man

The ramblings of a rambling man,
Subjects enter my mind and leave in the same instance, but they hold just long enough for me to form an opinion.
Now they have gone, I am open to suggestion,
my aims in life are to be content with nothing but the earth I stand on, if the earth is still there then my aims have been complete.
The Earth virus, My neurosis of Terra.
This is my idea that the human mind in its collective form is harming the growth of the individual of the species. Together the collective mind is working as a single unit, but it cannot be individual since it does not have its own body, instead it consists of mind and soul, soul being every individual who makes up the collective and mind being the unconscious contents that seem to appear in certain times of the history line, such as times of industrial growth and various other accelerated periods of development.
Slowly the collective is enlarging its mind in order to do away with its soul, just like the modern individual has been doing for the last hundred years or so.
The problem lies in the collective body which at some point unconsciously we must be aiming for.
This I imagine will come in the form of technological advancements, however any individual’s biggest mistake is closing his mind to his own ideas and blinding any future development of the senses.
The neurosis of Terra will lead to a decrease in unconscious awareness for the majority.
Think of progress as two steps forward and one step back, we will revert to an earlier stage before we can find our balance and move forward.
The future holds endless possibilities for life forms, we just happen to be the consciously aware ones of earth, but what if the earth itself was consciously aware and it see’s humans upon it as we see microbes living inside our own bodies.
If we have certain microbes inside us that start to cause us problems we take some sort of medication to balance them out, in the stomach when people suffer from ulcers
(which it has been proven are the result of bacteria that can survive in the stomach)
we take Pepto-Bismol to cool the fire. The Earth could just flood its land with salt water to cool the disturbing microbes.
Speculative thinking, and if you must know the truth, then understand, there is no universal truths, only paradoxes.
When we are born we have a purpose, just like the sun and the solar system have a unique direction to travel in, so does smaller life.
Why then do we not all see this purpose and approach some sort of realisation and fulfil our duty, or maybe we do. The question for me then is this. For every clearly distinguishable bad thing happening in the world, ie War, Poverty, Rape, Abuse, is there an equal number of good things happening in the world, or do the scales tip over to give one side an advantage.
It is true to say that through out all life there is a prevailing side that the life form must take.
Are wild predators good things, or is the good animal the one that lives a life of peace and only eats things it finds, ie given to it by the earth.
But then we get the grey ground of animals that eat plants, however most animals that eat plants don’t actually kill the plant they eat, they just take enough to fill them then move on, where as a Lion will kill its meal.
Is there a carnivore out there that only takes its fill then leaves its victim to recover so it can eat from it again at a later date? One last thing before I sit back to contemplate. What is the ratio between carnivores and herbivores on the plant Earth?
Would it equal the ratio of what we consider good and evil in our own human world?
