End Of A Long Road

I remember good old days
I walk home from school
I saw her pretty face
First time in the mall
I call her name
And she turns to look and smile
I haven’t seen her since
For a very long time
I wait on these sidewalks
From dusk till dawn
Miles I have to cross
Walking up and down
Time flies so fast
I think I need to stop
Nearly to exhaust
On the road of hope
End of a long road
End of a long road
Nothing ahead, nothing behind
No dead ends or signs
A long (long) road
A long lonely walk
I’ve been going, growing old
(At the) End of a long road
Oh, I’m pretty tired
In time to say goodbye
All I have desired
I sweat all day and dry
It’s been a long time
Guess I walk away
She never knew my name
Even to this day
End of a long road
End of a long road
Nothing ahead, nothing behind
No dead ends or signs
A long (long) road
A long lonely walk
I’ve been going, growing old
(At the) End of a long road
(At the) End of a long road
End of a long road
End of a long road
