I Am My God

It’s a miracle I travelled forty years,
I’m tired but I have reached nowhere,
I’m safe and sound and sane most of all,
Pass obstacles and joy,
But God did not lend his hand,
My prayers have never been listened,
I know I walk out most of the time,
And I decide my mind,
Because I am my god.
When I think I always get it right,
But dreams that never turn up,
That makes my desire long and last,
Awful and painful long,
I have all I wanted from this world,
And left behind some more,
I build my dreams on my own,
And I decide my line,
Because I am my god.
And a lost man on the Milky Way,
My little hopes awesomely beautiful,
I’m shy to tell or give them away,
I wish they never come true,
I’m elated in happiness,
And deeply sad in sorrow,
But I don’t show an expression,
And I’m out on my way,
Because I am my god.
