A Love So Reserved

It was a long time ago I fell in love with a girl
I could tell by the shadow that falls in her path
As the sun is hanging low she turns up on the lane
She walks out from the glow burning like a flame
I can see her pretty hair in the burst of the rays
When I tried to talk to her she bashed on my face
I still went on believing my love growing strong
I could not let her go in fear of my soul
And now I give to you a love so reserved
For the girl of my life I never have served
It’s just love that is right to be passed on
To the one by my side to hang around
How I can’t believe my heart stand defeat
Of a love so reserved…a love so reserved
Many years have passed since I’ve lost her from sight
But memories keep calling of love I franchise
I can see her young and sweet like I saw her first time
She’s the queen of my heart and dreams of my eyes
My heart gives a push and my nerves are breaking
I go back to those days to touch this feeling
Of a lonely flower that never grows old
This is my guilty pleasure I couldn’t live without
And now I give to you a love so reserved
For the girl of my life I never have served
It’s just love that is right to be passed on
To the one by my side to hang around
How I can’t believe my heart stand defeat
Of a love so reserved…a love so reserved
How I can’t believe my heart stand defeat
Of a love so reserved…a love so reserved
