Intermittent Recall.

I see you float,
oh blessed isle of bliss
far from these mist strewn shores
where I now dwell.

I see you clear
as clouds disperse,
I bask in sunlight’s warming glow
that brings a blessed balm.

My vision fades
as nightfall looms
and gloom is gathered all around
until a new day dawns.

I see you now no more
for night expands as day declines
and dark devours all
eternally.
