The screams call her name
as she silently goes insane
all the pain never goes away
her conscience she can not tame
there are more words than what is said
what's between the lines is what leaves her dead
dirty looks and ugly stares
noone really cares
all faith lost
she will forever pay the cost
there is nowhere left to run
from the barrels of their guns
yet she searches desperately for a place to hide
or for someone to help her make a disguise
when there's no more love left for you
how do you know who to run to?
after the clouds begin to swallow the moon
everything white turns black soon
the dark, coppery taste of blood
flows through her mouth like a flood
