First Flight

remember the first flight;

lighter than air before

leaving dust

thunderous roar mild

warm like

crackling of fire

a run and leap  fierce and

free she flies   all else

falls

controls a single 

raft in endless

oceans   hands cloudy white

relax;

breathe

the empty air

flying

look down see a 

house small

pale

look up see a 

home endless

intimate

found in the sky that   very first flight
