Joey's POV:

The next night, I went over to Izzy's with Dan. Craig and Ben came along. I was standing with them when Spencer came over to me and started talking. I soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs, I looked up and saw Izzy. But, she looked so weird, so pretty. For the first time since we've met, I've seen her wear a dress. The dress was red and short and looked great with her perfect curves. Izzy has the perfect hourglass body. She would look so much better if she wore less baggy clothes and more skirts. But, there must be some reason as to why she does.

Anyway, Izzy walked down the stairs and almost tripped. I noticed she was also wearing red high heeled boots. Her face was redder than her dress. Dani called Spencer and she walked away, so I started making my way to Izzy. But, Dan beat me to it.

"Hey, I'll introduce you to my brothers." he said to her.

"Ok." she followed him to where Ben and Craig were.

"This is my twin Ben and my older brother Craig."

"Hi." Craig said.

"Hey, you're hot!" Ben said.

Craig has a girlfriend and he's like really loyal, so he doesn't really look or think about any other girls. But, Ben was a huge flirt.

"Um, thanks." Izzy replied.

I could tell she was feeling uncomfortable just by looking at her, she was fiddling with her fingers and looking down. Dan noticed as well and said, "Hey, let's go meet Izzy's friends."

I could see Ben's eyes brighten at the mention of more girls. I tried going over to Izzy then, but her mom pulled her to the cake. Everyone sang happy birthday and had cake. After that, Izzy opened her presents. She had a lot! I didn't give her my present, instead I hid it. I wanted to give it to her when we were alone.

After all was done, Izzy went up to the terrace and took off her boots. I followed behind her.

"Oh, I need to get out of here and out of this dress!" she groaned, leaning against the black railing.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey." I walked over to her.

"You look different."

Izzy looked up at me.

"In a good way." I quickly added.

"Thanks."

We both stood in silent and just looked out at the sky. There was a light breeze blowing, which made Izzy's hair flow around and make her look even more attractive.

"I feel so stupid." she muttered once.

"Hey, I have something for you." I replied.

"Really? What?"

"See for yourself." I took out a small rectangular shaped box and handed it to her.

Izzy looked up at me, but I looked down and away. She opened the box and took the present out. It was a bracelet, that had a heart in the middle.

"A bracelet?" she questioned.

"Well, yeah, I saw it at the mall and thought of you." I answered.

"Oh."

"If you don't like then it's alright." What was I thinking? What kind of tomboy likes jewelry?

"No, no, it's beautiful. I love it!"

Izzy then did something unexpected; She kissed my cheek and wrapped her arms around me in a hug. I was... shocked. I mean, the girl who I was always fighting with actually kissed me and is now hugging me. Well, I should at least enjoy it, because tomorrow she will go back to wearing cargo pants and other guy clothes. I sighed happily and wrapped my arms tightly around Izzy.

"I love you." I whispered faintly.

Izzy pulled away and looked at me. Had she heard me? I said it so quietly, I could hardly hear it. I expected her to say something, but all Izzy do was try to put the bracelet on, she failed. So, I took it from her hands and put it on for her. She smiled up at me.

"Bella, come down stairs! We're getting pictures taking." someone called.

"Coming dad!" Izzy called back.

I thought her name was Izzy, so why did her dad call her Bella. I've always wondered that. But, before I could ask her, I noticed Izzy was already gone. I smiled and stared at the sky.

"Hey, you comin'?" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around and saw Izzy.

"Yeah." I replied.

I walked with her back downstairs and enjoyed the rest of the party. Then, I went home. I really am enjoying California.

A/N: The next ch. will be in Izzy's POV and how she feels about Joey. Then the following ch.s will be on their fight.
