We owned the land you think is yours - two thousand years ago!

So move on over quietly and don't you make a fuss!
If you'd renounce all your beliefs you could be 'one of us'.
And by the way, what's all this stuff you built before we came?
We cannot find the plans at all! What is your stupid game?

We'll take it down and build a road. We need it, don't you see?
This is not simply 'you and us' - it is our destiny!

You foolish people! Hold your tongues! Go back where you came!
We cannot trust you! You are mad!
And we are not to blame.

We want your land! We own it - we've New York Lawyers here!
They say you have no right to it, so leave by next New Year!

We're gentle and we're wronged, and all the right is on our side.
It's crazy that you fight us, all our goodness is denied!

So please be kind, and help us, understand our ways.
