Stellar Traces (About the loneliness being the last person on earth)

Stellar traces, softer and thinner,  

In a sky that once glowed in wonder,  

Now, I stand beneath a canvas, emptying,  

Eyes searching, aching, 

For a flicker, a spark, a memory,  

In the cold breath of a dying night.  

Each star, once known by name,  

Now fades like echoes of a song,  

Swallowed by silence, 

One by one,  

I count them as they flicker and fall,  

Light turned to shadow, 

Hope melting into the dark. 

I walk these empty streets, 

A ghost in a city of memories,  

Concrete shapes tremble beneath my footsteps,  

Wind rushes through broken windows  

And carries stories of a world past,  

Lost people, shared dreams, 

Now trapped, like dust in the air.  

Loneliness wraps around me tight,  

A cloak of twilight,  

As I lie beneath this vast, heavy sky,  

With each dim star, I feel the weight  

Of a thousand lost voices, 

A chorus of singing farewell.  

This is my ritual,  

As the universe grows quiet, 

I bow my head for those fading lights,  

Once bright, now just memories, 

Stellar traces that will dissolve,  

Together with my own self,

More and more -
