My best friend in year 3, Alex, confided in me during recess that he had seen a thief on his way to school. Even though I had heard a good deal about them, I had never seen one before. naturally, I was eager to learn more about this one. When Alex described what I recognised as a human. I was not just petrified, I was horrified and SHOCKED. i had no idea that thieves were actually one of us. Since then quite a number of people that I knew have been fleeced. I have been a victim myself; when I was most vulnerable. However, I am not in school anymore. I am not even in uni, unless I was there to teach. I have learnt alot and I am not as naiive as I was in Year 3. I believe thieves are anything but human

My little brother took 50c from mom's purse he didn't even know what the hell it was. Dad found out and that was the last thing he ever stole. Once he picked up a blank envelope with R200 in which he promptly chucked into the postbox. The other stole a tiger-toffee from the corner café and he was bragging about it 'till dad saw him and he was also instantly permanently cured. He's the more honest of the two. “Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying”.
