Beautiful poem, and the last sentence is sublime.
It would be great if we could pick up time. My grandmother told me that life was all about making memories and stringing them like pearls into our souls, and at end of says we can take them...

"a mirror
of night in scissor-tailed sorcery."
And I must ask, why "biologically armed"? It invokes a picture of war, and not the serenity of love, or maybe that is my tinted glass view!
