I hope by now it's been rewarded with the stain.

This is great reading. So many emotional angles in it. More crises than a family can be expected to cope with but you've melded them so well.

I'm sorry, I didn't read this when you first put it up on the site. There's too much good stuff...

It was absloutely awful. It's still at the front of my mind. But if I'd have reacted in any way I'm sure I'd have found my face pressed to the road too.

Yeah! Let's all hope for nasty things for them.

I'm sharpening up the pointy sticks for my voodoo dolls as I type.

Thank you for your comment

Thank you for your comment IPFN. I found it very interesting, particularly the bit about Di's neighbours' car tyres. I think I'm a little bit afraid of you now. I want my mummy! Perhaps drinking too many double espressos has sent you a bit manic...

Good words. I can see vividly

Posted on Tue, 08 Aug 2023

Good words. I can see vividly the scene both inside and outside of the café, feel the atmosphere and smell the smells.

It's funny how you can't order happiness on a plate. It just turns up one day, unannounced.

And the moral of the story is...

If you go down to the woods today you'd better take two sandwiches with you.
