My stories

A New Path To Paradise

A Tall Thai Guide

Pepsoidian Challenge

I suppose that the 'David and Goliath' theme is a universal one - perhaps a subset of the stories of those who manage to succeed against overwhelming odds. It set me thinking about 'labels' since it can be argued that from the point of view of the prevailing power in each of these stories the heroes are terrorists. It reminded me of the saying : 'One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.' For me LOTR is in a class of its own and although in each of the 3 tales it is a single individual who saves the day only Tolkien manages to make him ironic. It's also notable that the other 2 epics have heroes who are genetically predisposed for the role they play.

Pieces

experimental piece inspired by Tim's Dumb Belle... took me almost 10 minutes and I expect it Shows :O)

Game Over

It's the end of the fucking world they screamed as they ran off down the road one or two were blue-skinned and I figured it was woad could it be that Inggerrland was out of the World Cup sorrows waiting to be drowned
Cherry

Mint Sauce

When the sheep were angry their baas turned into bahs The grass just wasn't green enough they weren't getting enough stars So they bleated and they blighted then they bleated on some more Then they rounded on the shepherd fit to start a new flock war.
