Borrowed lines

This was a poem specifically written for a book we had to make for my BA in writing. Was written in 2017 and was very much a snapshot of my life then. I suppose the style is confessional. The book was rather pointless but the writting for the degree was ok.

It's a borrowed line, lots in the poem is, borrowed from Douglas Adams: Belgium is a swear word in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.
I once lived in Belgium too. Several Belgian friends.

The house in this poem was knocked down, I passed it often and saw the roof collapse more each day. Finally they simply knocked it flat with a bulldozer. Behind where I live here, in the disamce there is the remains of a house, roofless.
